Welcome to StudioRishan

Here is where I post some of the stuff I've done and where I'll post my future projects!

ANIMATIONS

One of my most popular Animations on YouTube

This was a passion project of mine to express my love for the game Five Nights at Freddy's. The original game came out in August 8th, 2014 and in 2024 I published this video around the anniversary after 2 - 3 months of hard work in production and post-processing. This was also my last time using the animation software Source Filmmaker as I would later learn Blender on my own time.

If you haven't tried the game before, I highly recommend it.

Testing Collisions in Blender with Godzilla

This was a project where I mostly was figuring out the collisions system in Blender so I could get the impact to look right between Godzilla and the Muto. Took around 2 weeks but I think it came out decent. Not my best work Post-Processing wise but I like to look at this reel as me overcoming the physics engine in Blender.

Dynamic Movement Testing with CYN

This one is heavily based on Episode 8 of MURDER DRONES and uses one of my favorite characters from the show, CYN. I wanted to experiment with more dynamic movement while also trying to get a more cinematic feel. I feel pretty happy with the outcome and this also has some of my best post production work related to Blender. The issue with Blender is that it is a very heavy program, so simulating particles is difficult for my computer, that's why everything is added in post, and typically it takes weeks for the effects to feel like they're apart of the world of the animation, but I feel like I got that feel in this animation.

My First Attempt at Post Production Effects

The idea behind this animation was to bring an old VHS feel from a time long ago, then a jump to the present. One thing added to this one however was the addition of gore to add to the horror so VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. Once again a Five Nights at Freddy's based animation because I think the story of the franchise fit what I was going for. Search it up if you're curious, its simple, dark, but also interesting.

Working With Fast Paced Material

This animation was something one of my friends asked me to do because they loved this song. When I first listened to it, I didn't know what I was going to do since the song is so fast paced. Eventually what I did was keep the slower parts smooth and the faster parts more erratic, playing into the tempo to exemplify the speed of the song. This is personally one of my favorites and it took about 3 - 4 months since I had scrapped an earlier version.

CALLBACK PING

My greatest post production work yet, I challenged myself with this project to make it look as pleasing to the eye as possible. I think I accomplished that on a degree I didn't know I could. I did a lot of camera cheating in this to actually get some of the shots to look better and I think it adds to the feel of the scene.

Yes this is a recreation of an existing scene in MURDER DRONES, but this one was made in my way.

DRAWINGS/SKETCHES

LOOK AT MY DOODLES

Here is some of the stuff I've been sketching! Obviously, they're just sketches so they won't all be amazing, but it's cool to track!

My Current Projects

Daisy Bell Horror Scene

I am currently working on a horror scene inspired by the song "Daisy bell," a song that really makes the goosebumps fire. I'm aiming to make this creepy and eerie so I can challenge myself on my scene building. Here you can see some of the wireframe work and mesh basics for the subject and scene.

I've also provided multiple pictures that show the process of building the scene and a test I ran with the lighting. The rendered picture is only at 18 samples.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you typically animate?

I usually animate my current obsessions. So on the website, you'll probably see a lot of Murder Drones stuff because that is what I'm currently into. That and I'm animating for a fan-made spin off called "MURDER DRONES STRAYS" Check it out on YouTube! Also check out MURDER DRONES, the original series by Glitch Productions and Show Runner Liam Vickers!

What do you typically draw?

I actually draw a lot of comic book art. I taught myself anatomy around 7th-8th grade, and I typically draw superheroes or your basic comic book anatomy. It's gotten easier to understand anatomy the more I've drawn. I've recently started challenging myself to learn more about art styles such as anime or landscape, and so far, I'm coming along. I do post the bad attempts because I think my bad draws should be seen to show that I'm not a perfect artist.

What got you into art?

Weirdly enough, it was a mix of Jurassic Park and Batman-related content. I loved watching the Batman animated series growing up, and I would draw him on the side of my assignments at all times.  Then, when I watched Jurassic Park, I bought my first sketchbook to dedicate to my random dinosaur drawings. I've filled about 18 sketchbooks since then.

“The only thing this man animates is Murder Drones and dinosaurs; he is obsessed.”

- Probably one of my friends.

About this passion of mine

I started animating around 7th grade, and I've loved the process of making a little snippet of animation. Sure it's time consuming, but it feels amazing to see the results when a product is made.
